CrawlCare started out scanning websites and fixing what the scans found. Now we build them as well. If your WordPress site is slow, hard to edit or out of date, or it's been hacked, we can rebuild or redesign it, and we write custom plugins.

Every project starts with a scan of your current site. It shows us what the site runs on, down to the WordPress version and every plugin on top of the theme, and it picks up security problems and broken pages. From that we can say whether a fix will do or a rebuild makes more sense. Sometimes a fix is all it needs, and we'll tell you that.

Some sites have been patched for years. The theme stopped getting updates long ago, twenty plugins each do one small job, and there's custom code nobody remembers writing. At some point fixing it costs more than starting again.
A rebuild replaces what sits under your content. We keep your content, URLs and search rankings where we can, and set up redirects for any URL that has to change so old links and Google results still go somewhere useful.
A redesign changes how the site looks and how people find their way around it. We start from your existing content and what your visitors come looking for, then build the new design in the Bricks Builder theme. You can edit it yourself, so changing a page doesn't mean calling a developer.
Sometimes an off-the-shelf plugin does too much, or too little, or almost the right thing. Then we write one for your case: a booking form tied to your own system, say, or an import from a supplier feed, or a change to how WooCommerce handles orders. Once you've paid, the code is yours. We write it to keep working through WordPress updates.
A hacked site gets cleaned first. We remove the malware and backdoors and close the hole the attacker used. Then we check that the site has stopped sending spam or redirecting visitors.
If the site is badly compromised or runs on abandoned code, cleaning it may only buy time. Then we rebuild it on a clean install with current plugins and move your content across once we've checked it.
